Mama Santa was formed in mid-1996 and since then began to play in different places: San Antonio de Areco, Luján, Mercedes, Carmen de Areco, San Andrés de Giles, Pergamino, Azcuénaga, etc.

In the year 2000 the band arrives to Capital Federal, and begins to play in different stages of the Buenos Aires underground circuit.

At the beginning of 2001, the recording of a live show begins to circulate, under the name of (Última tormenta de verano).

After the second run of records was sold out, the band decided not to re-release it again.
