Convido nace de extensas reuniones en una terraza de Buenos Aires en agosto del 2006 entre Ariel, Nico y "el Poyo". Allí comenzaron a darle forma al proyecto. Luego se unieron a la banda Tomás y Mariela, para fines de diciembre de ese mismo año realizaron su primer recital en el club del bufon.
En febrero del 2007 el grupo edita Mutar, su primera producción independiente. Grabado en los Estudios Rec. Contando con invitados como Francisco Valverde en percusión, Felipe Barrozo en guitarra y piano y Diego Lebedinsky en coros.
Creer ó reventar,es la segunda producción independiente del quinteto de rock Convido. Grabado entre Octubre y Noviembre del 2008, en los Estudios "Rata Muerta" junto a Felipe Barrozo, Francisco Valverde, Maxi Medina, con el toque final de Martín Carrizo (ex A.N.I.M.A.L , Indio Solari) y Los Cinco Dedos en los estudios MC Producciones,entre Enero y Febrero de 2009.
El 2010 encuentra a la banda ensayando para seguir presentando su material por todo el pais y elaborando nuevos temas para una proxima produccion.
“Mientras las avenidas esconden sus intenciones, enrejan la tolerancia, afloran su racismo y se creen dueños de lo que todavía no llegaron a consumir, las voces en las calles y en los barrios seguirán haciéndose escuchar, simplemente para poder dormir tranquilos” ¿Dónde querés estar?¿Dónde queremos estar?
